  1. Allow instructors to show results to students even if not all students in the class have gotten their answers in yet.

    Not all instructors grade, and it takes a long time to wait for all students in very large classes to poll in. Sometimes having results from 75% of the students is enough to discuss and move on. If the poll can keep running to collect answers, then all students can be counted for participation even if they have already seen results. Poll Everywhere does this and it allows me to move through class much faster in some instances.

  3. add a feature to allow instructor to see all student names on the seat map simultaneously

    The instructor will be able to see the name of every student in every seat, which will help them to match names with faces.

  4. Open "teacher deck" on another device

    I would like to present from my desktop and have the teacher view and control from an ipad or second device. PearDeck has the option to "open teacher deck on another device". I'd like to be able to do the same thing here.

  5. Add a "Do not allow students to review their performance on this module" option to the Synchronous Response modality

    If "Do not allow students to review their performance on this module" is checked, it does not show the session for this module in the list of older sessions that students can review.

  6. Create Partial Credit Scoring Option for Multiple-Answer Questions

    When student get part of a multiple answer question correct, their position in the seating chart show orange rather than red or green. That's great. But there aren't matching scoring options. Two possibilities come to mind: 1) Treat each possible answer as a true-false question worth (1/number-of-answers) of the question's total score 2) When setting up multiple-answer questions, give the creator the option of assigning positive (and possibly negative) values for each answer correctly (or wrongly) selected.

  7. Allowing instructors to copy modules created at other colleges/accounts

    Like many of us, I teach at multiple colleges. It would be a huge time saver to be able to copy modules that I have created in my other accounts (colleges). Yes, I could search the library; however: a) it takes forever; and b) I have private content in my modules I wish to access. I don't have time to reinvent the wheel.

  10. Student Preview Mode

    Have a student preview mode so that before the session is launched, we can test new questions to see how students will enter answers and ensure the question is being graded correctly.

    The data collection question type currently returns mean, etc. It would be helpful to also get sum data in the case when students are providing tally data.

  12. Allow a "multiple numerical" question type

    This would be a question where students could enter in a sequence of numbers of specified length. For example, if I want students to enter in the components of a vector in R3, it would give them three blanks into which they type numbers. Again, like the existing "numerical" type but with multiple blanks (the number of which is determined when the question is created).

  13. Provide response counts in addition to percentages in the bar graph of real-time responses

    The bar graph of responses (in real-time during delivery, and after closing delivery) shows percentages of the total number of responses. I'd like for it to also show the raw number of responses. This would allow me to do some quick math is the responses are numberic.

  15. Create a "Program Code" question type

    The Long Answer question type is not useful for asking students to input a snippet of computer program code for an answer. The L.A. type strips out multiple spaces that a student may enter for indenting lines of program code. The response the instructor sees on his/her screen is all left-justified, which is difficult to analyze or to show to the class. A "Program Code" question type should preserve all spaces for viewing. Ideally, it should also use a monospaced font so that columns line up.

  16. Update Manual Grades

    When I'm looking at all the modules in my course, there's a column called "Results" with little pie charts (green = correct and red = incorrect). For "long answer" type questions, the pie is greyed out. I wish after I go in and manually grade student's responses, the pie would update to reflect the outcome of the manual grading. Likewise for a "numerical" answer question. If the students include units when they aren't supposed to, they will be counted wrong. I can go back and manually regrade these, but the updated scores are not reflected in the red/green pie.

  17. Add RegEx to Search filter

    I have multiple sections each week and multiple modules for each lab. So the search filter is very helpful, but it would be much better if regex operators could be used. For instance if I wanted find all the modules in the noon section of Lab 3 with module titles format:

    2017 Lab# Subject Time

    I could type in the search box Lab4.*12:00 and see them all

    I know I could restructure the title format to Lab#Time, but this is just an example. I'm looking for flexibility overall

  18. IP address access

    Limit student access by IP address. I have students not attending class but they can still log on to the Learning Catalytics class anywhere. I would like to have the ability to limit their access to my school's IP address so more than likely they would actually be attending the class.

  19. Highlighting Text Questions

    It would be great if the highlighting text type questions would also allow us to include superscripts and subscripts so they can highlight in balanced reactions or equations. In the latter case special characters would be a useful functionality.
