  2. Allow instructors to change seat orientation (not just location)

    Our rooms are often setup seminar style, in-the-round, or other orientations in which not all seats face the same direction, and the current room setup does not allow for this. I can place the seats in a circle, but LC still reads this as them all facing the same way and says things like ‘Talk to John behind you’ when John is really on the person’s right. If there was a way to turn/orient seats as well as place them, I think that would solve this issue and allow for better grouping.

  3. Add TIFF to allowable file formats for image import. (JPG, GIF, PNG)

    On Mac OSX, the Grab utility only saves screen shots in TIFF format. This requires using another utility, such as Preview, to open the TIFF file and then export it in one of the acceptable Learning Catalytics formats (JPG, GIF, PNG)

  4. for "matching" type questions, allow math-formatted response options. Though afte

    With the matching type of questions, the drop-down menus need to be able to present math-formatted options. Students can see the options formatted properly only after submitting, and are currently presented options with variables and numbers, but exponentiation and so forth are sort of glossed over. For instance I can enter something like x^{-1} which appears properly after submission, but in the dropdown menu for matching, it appears as x-1.

  5. allow users to copy rooms

    If users could copy rooms they would have the ability to "backup" a large/complex room that took quite a lot of work to create. This way a 'spare' version could be shared by giving it an easy to find name, while a second copy could be shelved under a more complex, harder to discover name.

  8. creating permission controls for collaborators

    Accidentally, an instructor who shared his course with his collaborators lost all of his questions due to accidental deletion by his colleague. Allow for different permission controls to prevent this from happening again.

  9. Directional questions: provide arrows options into and out of the screen

    In physics (specifically electromagnetism), vector arrows away from (X) or toward (*) the student arise frequently. It would be nice to have this functionality added somehow.

    It would be great if scores could be shown after the kids respond so that the session can be turned into a competitive game.

  12. Learning Catalytics isn't happy with the Norwegian names- doesn't like ø, å, and æ. Could this be adjusted

    Would love it if the students could upload a pdf file as a response to a question, since that would allow us to consolidate everything in MP. (their MATLAB assignments will have to go through Its Learning as things stand now, though I guess we can assign them in MP)

  13. enable "drag and drop" feature to permit instructors to copy questions between modules-

    in the module palette permitting instructors to a "drag and drop" feature to allow one to copy or move questions between modules

    the only recourse at present is to copy a complete module and delete unwanted questions

    "dragging and dropping" a circle in the module window (attached) would be very beneficial I think

  18. Add a [SAVE & NEW] button to the editor for new question creation.

    I often create modules that are quite a few questions long. For example, I routinely create 50 (+) question modules for exam reviews, complete with feedback. After writing each I have to click SAVE to close the question creation, back out at the main edit window I then get to click CREAT NEW.

    This is twice as many clicks as needed. Simply add SAVE & NEW and all is done in a single click and you're busy writing the next question immediately.

  19. Provide a checkbox in course configuration, or in each module, to disable the popup slash screen.

    When using a secondary (instructor only) device to drive the module, this screen is redundant, and intrusive. I would like to see a setting to disable this screen.

  20. check answers in edit mode

    I wish in the edit mode after save and preview mode, I could enter in different
    answers to check out the grading correctness. Right now I have to save it, start a session,
    try different answers, stop session and then go back to edit mode.
