  1. Increase the drawing area

    The size of the drawing area is small. Can we enlarge it? The people complaining about this aren’t just those using their phones. The drawing space is the same size whether you use a computer, an ipad or a phone so they are all having the same issue.

    • countdownd in automatic pacing should not delete students answers

      The moment the countdown starts in automatic pacing, all the answers of students that were not yet submitted are erased. This happens in several question modes like long answer, short answer, sketch and expression. Students find this very annoying.

      • We need an eraser tool

        When a student makes a mistake drawing a diagram, they have to refresh the screen which means getting rid of the entire drawing and starting over. They really want an eraser tool so they can fix it quickly an move on without starting over.

        • Basic editor is broken again.

          Today, when using the basic editor, I click save and preview, and LC then deletes my question but saves my multiple choice answers. So I click edit and paste the question back in and click save and preview again and the question appears. So, it's not totally broken.

          • Make it possible to assign "the participation weight" for each question, rather than the entire module.

            I would like to vary the participation weight for different questions within a module. For example, I would like to count the first two questions of each class at 25% participation and 75% correctness but all the remaining questions to count at 100% participation. Currently, the participation weight set applies to all questions in the entire module.

            • Allow multiple attempts during indviudal round of team-based assessment

              Allow students to select multiple answers during the individual round. If a student knows the answer they can only select one answer and receive 4 points. If they think it is one of two then they can select 2 answer, but only receive 3 points, and if they select 3 answers they only receive 1 point. Same concept that is applied to the team round, but students will not see the correct answer until they complete the assignment as a team.

              • Allow live session instructor review of individual student responses

                Allow live (mid-session) instructors to click on any response and see what student submitted it. Even if a seat map is not used.

                FOR CLASS has this feature. The instructor wants to do round 1, see who got/missed the question, call on them to discuss, then potentially do a second round. He does NOT want to use a seat map.

                Without a seat map, I do not see a way to review individual results and identify student names without ending the session and going to review results.

                • Record or add audio to a question

                  When creating quizzes for language courses, the ability to add audio to a question is a key feature. The audio should be able to be uploaded from your local computer, or recorded when creating the question. The attached audio should be played directly - not downloaded as an attachment.

                  • Size of image/zooming

                    This applies mostly to students using cell phones: an image included in the prompt of a question appears smaller than the screen could allow, and is not zoomable. Using all available space or zooming would be useful for both readability or to input certain answers. (Images seem to be always zoomable on iPads.)

                    • Drag and drop or copy and paste images into question stems or answers.

                      I wish I could just cut and past images from ppt or other document; and/or drag and drop an image from my desktop into either question stems or answer blocks. It is a bit tedious to have to upload the image and then drag the image title to the appropriate box.

                      When I try cut n' paste of images, the image does not always show up or it only half shows up.

                      • Countdown timer should be displayed on students devices

                        The countdown timer in automatic pacing, as well as the round clock that counts submitted answers, currently appear only on the instructors screen and on the window projected in the classroom.

                        If the instructor is not using a projector, he has to orally remind students of the remaining time. Please show the timer and clock on students devices.

                        Another detail: on the student window that is projected, the countdown timer has colours red on blue, which are very hard to read. Please change the color.

                        • Enhanced editor in Answer/Explanation

                          It would be helpful to be ale to use the Enhanced Editor in the Explanation. When writing out equations and chemical formulas it is cumbersome to manually insert subscripts and superscripts as well as symbols.

                          • Providing TeX editing pop-up for entering answer choices in multiple choice questions.

                            To write mathematical expressions for the answer boxes I can only find two options: text, or image. Now, text does not really support mathematical editing. I am using image by employing LaTeXiT to create the expression, save as jpeg and copy the jpegs to the image list for the question. This is cumbersome. In particular considering that you already have that same functionality going for ther question editor. Any chance to extend that by adding a new method to edit answers via the TeX popup tool you have?

                            • Allow word Cloud to detect the input 'no'

                              I have found that the word cloud does not detect the input 'no' and the bubble comes up as blank when this is put into the system. Can this be fixed?

                              • Allow reviewing of sessions on a mobile device

                                Currently students are unable to review a session or edit their profile on a mobile device. Both of these options could be added in a 'hamburger' menu and optimized to display nicely on devices.

                                      If there's a Leader Selection functionality in LC for team-based session/module, that would be excellent. Meaning, if someone in the group is chosen to be the leader of the group, only that person can answer the question. User experience will be like: a group of 4 students will join a session in LC, asked "are you a leader?". If that student is the leader for that week (leader of the group will be changed each week, rotating among the group of the students), he will say "yes", as soon as he said yes, the rest of the group will have…

                                      • Ability to turn on/off randomizing answer options functionality

                                        Would be good to add the option to turn on/off randomizing options in the questions. A workaround that we can think of now is to retype Pearson's content as a new question in LC because apparently ability to choose whether or not to randomize options is only available when we create own question. But we're concerned with copyright and IP, so can we retype the Pearson content question and add the referencing info in that self-created question?

                                          Use a font where capital I (i) doesn't look like a lowercase l (L). Students are wondering if it's Cl as in chlorine or CI as in carbon attached to an iodine. A font where all the letters were distinguishable would be good.
